Here is a list of expressions of quantity in French. Notice how they end in de ('of'). Just a couple of exceptions to this are plusieurs 'several' and quelque(s) 'some'.

Examples

Notice how after the word de ('of') you simply give the noun. You do not need to say du, de la, de l'or des.

j'ai une bouteille de vin rouge
je voudrais 300 grammes de fromage

ils ont beaucoup d'argent
il y a trop de sel dans la soupe
