About Us

TargetLanguage.co.uk was launched in 2007.

The site exists for children and adults alike who want to learn how to speak and write accurate French but is specifically directed at young people who are studying for French at GCSE or Common Entrance level.

There are 80 levels each dedicated to an area of the language, either a point of grammar or a vocabulary-based topic. The absolute beginner can start at Level 1 and work through the other levels while those who already know some French can select the areas they want to work on using the contents page.

The site does not replace lessons in school, which are essential for developing speaking and listening skills - but it does provide another angle for students who might wonder what is going on in lessons taught exclusively in French.

If you really want to learn French properly, to be able to say what you want, when you want, this site is for you.
